MuchoSur Quimbaya is our first hotel operated under the Conscious Travel philosophy. A traditional coffee-region architectural style nestled within 12 hectares of pure nature featuring a waterfall, swimming pool, a delightful restaurant, hiking trails, and a bamboo forest, surrounded by extraordinary landscapes with centuries-old trees visited by over 50 bird species.

Live a transformational experience around cocoa. You will learn to recognize the cob (you will open the fruit, taste the seeds and mucilage). You will also prepare cocoa tea with the husk, make a facial mask and discover its benefits. And after grinding Cacao, you will taste chocolate to drink and a delicious chocolate bar. Cacao is a sacred food that you will love.

Learn about the history of the plantain and banana, discovering its importance in the country life of the Cafetero Cultural Landscape. 

We will explore the plantain plantation, understanding the concepts of colino, aguja, bandera, calle and plateado in the cultivation process.

Taste banana and plantain derivatives, exploring local flavors such as patacón, maduro and aborrajado.
