ENG

The ancestral Kogui weaving is a craft that goes beyond the object. It brings together the worldview of a people who see in the act of weaving the possibility of obtaining ideas and thoughts and connect with the wisdom of the great mother, which for them is the Earth.

You will learn the technique to weave a backpack that is the main container of the coca leaf.

At MuchoSur we deeply believe in the importance of the transmission of culture and we firmly support the local community.

In this experience, you will connect with the coca plant and leaf, learn about its history, and discover how it is used by the Indigenous communities native to the region where it is harvested.

Coca represents life, health, knowledge, reflection, memory, a connection with the natural world, and the legacy of a people.

At MuchoSur we deeply believe in the importance of the transmission of culture and we firmly support the local community.
